I am 17 and I live in London and I like people and Giraffes and music.
B in History- I got a C in my International History paper and an A in my British History paper (squee) so overall that equated to a B. I’m looking to retake the former as I’d quite like to bump it up to an A tbh.
B in Politics- A high A in paper 1 for my essay on Socialism and New Labour (3 times Yes! couldn’t be more pleased about that) and a high D for paper 2 on Current Affairs and Parliament, overall this equated to a B so I’m gonna retake the second one and hopefully make it an A overall.
C in English Lit- I realised as much as I love reading and stuff, I don’t much enjoy learning English. Certain aspects are fun but all the analysis is dull and irritating. I’m gonna stick with for A2 though and I’m fairly pleased with my C tbh.
E in Economics- This was totally expected, I’m just pleased it wasn’t a U tbh. Seems unlikely I’ll retake it and I’m most definitely dropping it next year.
I did fairly well I think, not as good as some people but ah well. My predicted grades for next year should be AAB which will be quite alright. I may have to give Sheffield a miss but I think I can just about live with that. Anyway, I’m gonna get plastered tonight and be happy with my friends.
Also, I would like to point out that Chiswick is (at time of posting) 4th worst in a list of 306 comprehensives across England for A Level results so yknow… aha. Tarlie- out!
